ÖSYM

Founded in 1973, ÖSYM ("Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi" in Turkish, meaning "Measuring, Selection and Placement Center") is the body responsible for organizing the national level university entrance examination YGS-LYS, and several other large scale examinations in Turkey.

English exams

As well as YDS (Language Proficiency Test administered in Turkey), there are also:

1) LYS-5 (see LYS link above) 2) a section of the teacher's exam (ÖABT) which is in English for English teachers.[1][2]
