The “‘2011 Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship’” was the 46th staging of the Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board in 1929. The Championship began on 17 September 2011 and ended on 16 October 2011.

Danesfort won their second intermediate title, beating Rower-Inistioge 2-11 to 0–11 in the final.

Graignamanagh were relegated from the championship following a 1–21 to 1–09 defeat to Tullogher-Rosbercon in the relegation play-off.
