The Northern Sumatra's Zone Pre-PON Tournament. Four teams entered the qualification for the 2012 Pekan Olahraga Nasional Football tournament in Riau, where Northern Sumatra Zone have one spot for automatic qualifiers and one spot for the Host Province Riau. The competition will commence on 22 June 2011 and be completed on 26 June 2011.

4 teams entered for the tournament. The champion teams will advance to the PON's.
