The 2016–17 TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represents Texas Christian University in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, led by head coach Jamie Dixon in his first season at TCU. The Horned Frogs are members of the Big 12 Conference and play their home games at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, TX.
Previous Season
The Horned Frogs finished the season 12–21, 2–16 in Big 12 play to finish in last place. They defeated Texas Tech in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to West Virginia.
