The 2016 New Mexico Bowl is a college football bowl game to be played on December 17, 2016 at University Stadium in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The eleventh annual New Mexico Bowl, is one of the 2016–17 bowl games that concludes the 2015 FBS football season. The game airs on ESPN. Sponsored by clothing company Gildan Activewear, the game is officially known as the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

Team selection

The game features teams from the Mountain West Conference and Conference USA.

Jerry Palm has projected UTSA vs. Air Force,^[1] while Jason Kirk has projected Appalachian State vs Tulsa.^[2]
