2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship qualification (AVC)
The Asian section of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship qualification acts as qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, to be held in Italy and Bulgaria, for national teams which are members of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). A total of 4 slots in the final tournament are available for AVC teams.[1]
Pools composition
23 AVC national teams entered qualification. But, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan later withdrew.
Sub zonal round
Central Asia decided to hold the sub zonal round with 5 teams. But, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan later withdrew.

The top three ranked teams in Central Asia from the FIVB World Ranking as of October 2015 (Kazakhstan, India and Pakistan) automatically qualified for the zonal round.

The top five ranked teams from the FIVB World Ranking as of October 2015 (Iran, Australia, Japan, China and South Korea) automatically qualified for the final round. The top four ranked teams seeded by serpentine system. The other six teams will be drawn.
