27 Arietis (abbreviated 27 Ari) is a star in the northern constellation of Aries. 27 Arietis is the Flamsteed designation. It is close to the limit of what can be viewed with the naked eye with an apparent visual magnitude is 6.23.[2] The annual parallax shift of 11.30 ± 0.50 mas[1] corresponds to a physical distance of approximately 289 light-years (89 parsecs) from Earth. The stellar classification of G5 III-IV[3] matches the spectral of an evolved subgiant or giant star.
