Associazione Calcio Dilettantistica Asti is the leading Italian association football club in the city of Asti.
Founded officially in 1932 under the name AC Asti (Asti Football Association) changed its name several times in subsequent years because of the many mergers with local clubs. The company in 2008 reverted to original name ACD Asti during the celebrations for the 75th year of operation.
Currently plays in Serie D.
History
The earliest records date back to 1902 football Asti. During the festivities of San Secondo was organized, Racecourse Market Square, a square between the noble Genoa, which had already honors in his four league championships, the Milan Cricket and Football Club, Sport Torino Bold and the Andrea Doria. On 31 August the same year, in the wake of this event, a team began experimenting Asti against a representative of the "enemy" city of Alba.
Only in 1907 was created the first football club Asti: the premises of the Sports Cafe in Piazza Alfieri Astense Football Club was born, with red shirt and white shorts (the colors of the city). The debut was 14 April 1907, against the team of the Leardi Institute in Casale Monferrato (which later became A.S. Casale Calcio). The match was locked goalless.
In 1908 the Astense played their first league third category, in 1914 bought land in the road Time in Borgo San Lazzaro, who established his first pitch. In 1914 and 1915 the club played in the championship of Eccellenza.
Polisportiva Fulgor
At the end of the Great War, all sporting activities in Asti gravitated into the orbit of S. P. Fulgor. In 1918 came the football section, the team wore a white shirt decorated with the coat of arms of Savoy. In 1919 the club was born Lay, whose first team was called Asti Football Club shirt with purple edged in white, started in open contrast to the "Catholic" brilliance.
The two companies joined 26 March 1921, giving rise to Astigiani Football Union (PCU), edged with red shirt and white shorts and socks blacks.
The new company achieved promotion to the Second Division in 1924.
AC Asti
On 21 August 1932 U. C. Asti changed the company name in AC Asti (Associazione Calcio Asti), with red split completely in 1934 with Enrico Migliavacca as a player-coach, the team achieved the desired promotion to Serie C. Championship in 1937 was hired as coach – played the 'blue' Renato Cattaneo, who played twelve seasons nell'Alessandria and two in Rome of the tournament turned out to be the team Asti revelation.

Born Asti T.S.C.
In the early seventies emerged from the landscape Asti amateur football clubs U.S. Tower, with President Joseph Nosenzo contractor. From then on we saw the decline of Asti team that, after some years spent in C, relegated in the lower divisions.
Reborn A.C. Asti
In 1988, under the chairmanship of the Vice Presidents and Gianmaria Piacenza Church Turello Piero and Remus, the team returned the ancient name of Associatione Calcio Asti, with team colors white and red.
In 1994–95, with the bench coach Gerardo Bocchicchio, was the last jump of the team category, which was promoted in the National Amateur Championship and winning the Italian Cup Regional. The relegated again the following season and the crisis of the last decade led the company Asti, in 2006, the merger with the U. S. Nova Colligiana San Damiano d'Asti, and assumes the new name of ACD Asti Colligiana.
Now is the A.C.D. Asti
In 2007, after only one year and after playing a championship team is not exciting returned to original name ACD Asti.
On 2 May 2010 after a 0–0 draw against a team of Cherasco, Asti was promoted to Serie D after 13 years of absence and 15 from the last promotion.
