Dr. Ali Mohammad Khusro born in Hyderabad. He was an intellectual. He ser hved as the Vice-Chancellor Aligarh Muslim University (1974–79), a diplomat (Ambassador of India in Bonn 1980-82), head of charitable Institutions – Aga Khan Foundation (India), President, Federation of Indo-German Societies in India and Chairman of The Eleventh Finance Commission of India .
