La cuccagna, internationally released as A Girl... and a Million, is a 1962 Italian drama film directed by Luciano Salce.[1][2]
In 2008 it was restored and shown as part of the retrospective "Questi fantasmi: Cinema italiano ritrovato" at the 65th Venice International Film Festival.[3]
Plot
Rossella, a beautiful young girl that lives in a family of popular class, looks for a job every day but she is disappointed after not being able to find serious work. She meet Giuliano, a young student, that instead not have the will to found a work for any cost. After attempting suicide together, they make the choice to live each day without obsession over work.
