Abbas Aroua is an Algerian medical and health physicist. He is also human rights defender, peace worker and political activist.

Born on 12 November 1962 in M'Doukal, Wilaya of Batna, he left Algeria in 1984 to pursue his studies in the UK then in Switzerland where he lives since the beginning of 1988.
