Abtolemus

Abtolemus (Hebrew: אבטולמוס , Avtolemus; Greek: Εὔτολμος) was a Jewish Tanna sage of the third Generation. Jose ben Halafta was his disciple. He is cited in the Mishnah and Tosefta, attesting on the Jewish law of Halkha, on the authority of "Five Elders".[1]
Some are in the opinion that he may be the same Abtolemus b. Reuben, that is cited in the Babylonian Talmud:
"Abtolmus b. Reuben however was permitted to cut his hair in the Gentile fashion [2] as he was in close contact with the royals".
