Abysm
Abysm is an independent horror and science fiction film written and directed by American actor and filmmaker Serge Levin.[1] It is also the first feature film directed by Levin. The film features Michael Ironside, Charles Baker and Alex Veadov and was produced by Jon Keeyes and Matthew Panepinto.[1]
Synopsis
Sam Miller is a young man who suffers from depression after the death of his brother Ray in Iraq. After a suicide attempt, Sam arrives at a research facility supervised by Doctor Julian Loro, where he undergoes experiments to alter his basic emotions. When Loro discovers that Sam's neurology is different from he previous subjects, he decides to push his trials to the limit. Sam's unique reaction to the tests sends him on a journey that transcends both physical and perceived reality.[1]
