Adam C. Walmus

Adam C. Walmus was the director and CEO of the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. Prior to taking this position, Walmus served as director of the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK, and served a variety of other posts within the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is a fellow of and was the regent for Veterans Affairs to the American College of Healthcare Executives. Walmus received his BA in History from Trinity College, his Masters in Asian studies from the University of Michigan, and Masters in Healthcare Administration from Tulane University.[1] Walmus received an honorary Doctor of Humanities in Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine on May 27, 2014.
