History

aheadWorks was founded in 2001 by Cyril Golub, Eugene Popovsky, and Artyom Rabzonov as an ecommerce developer for small and mid-sized online businesses.[2]
In 2009 the company moved from X-Cart and focused on the Magento ecommerce market.[3] In 2016, the company is recognized as the Most Innovative Extension Developer for its contribution to the development of Magento and Magento 2 extensions.[4]
