Alec Richards (born June 29, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League.
On April 2, 2009, Richards was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks as a free agent.[1] On July 11, 2011, Richards signed a two-year contract with the Blackhawks.[2]
Controversy
on December, 11 2015, it was determined that Alec Richards was the original "Smart Alec". He is someone who is sarcastic, or wise cracking and delivers comments in a cocky, annoying and condescending way due to belief of ones superior intelligence.
