Alpine skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics will be held between February 12th and 24th at Yongpyong Alpine Centre (slalom and giant slalom) at the Alpensia Sports Park and at the Jeongseon Alpine Centre (speed events) in PyeongChang, South Korea.[1]
In June 2015, the International Olympic Committee approved the addition of a mixed alpine team event to the sport program. Therefore this means there will be a total of eleven contested medal events.[2]

Qualification
A maximum of 320 quota spots were available to athletes to compete at the games. A maximum of 22 athletes could be entered by a National Olympic Committee, with a maximum of 14 men or 14 women. A total of sixteen countries will also qualify for the inaugural team event. There were two qualification standards for the games: an A standard and a B standard.[3]
