Personal life
She currently resides in Johannesburg,[1] Cape Town, and New York City. She has had widely publicised relationships with South African hip hop stars Jub Jub and Slikour.[1] du-Pont was in a heavily scrutinized relationship with a murder convicted hip hop star Molemo Maarohanye, widely known as “Jub Jub” who was found guilty of murder after he ran over a group of school pupils during a drag race with his friend Themba Tshabalala in Soweto. Du-Pont was Maarohanye's fiancé before he left her for South African afro-pop singer Kelly Khumalo who later bore Maarohanye's child. In September 2013, du-Pont revealed that she was in a relationship with South African hip hop artist Siyabonga ‘Slikour’ Metane who had been in a relationship with South African celebrity Bonang Matheba. In February 2014, du-Pont revealed that she was in an abusive relationship and was raped by one of her previous boyfriends. The general assumption was that the unnamed ex-boyfriend was the incarcerated Maarohanye, who was also accused by the mother of his child, Kelly Khumalo, of domestic violence, physical abuse and substance abuse. du-Pont came out in defence of Maarohanye and he was not the ex-boyfriend who abused her.
