Angus Lloyd (born 2 October 1992) is an Irish rugby union player who was educated at Blackrock College, where he played on the Senior Cup team.
Ulster
Lloyd joined Ulster in Summer 2016 after playing for five seasons at Dublin University Football Club of Trinity College Dublin, the oldest still existing rugby union club in the world. He represented the Ireland Clubs side in a fixture against France in February 2016 and also impressed on trial for Munster Rugby's 'A' side in the same year. He made his Ulster debut off the bench in the 19-8 victory at home to Scarlets on 16 September 2016.[2]
Munster
On 7 November 2016, it was announced that Lloyd had joined Ulster's provincial rival Munster on a short-term loan.[3] On 26 November 2016, Lloyd made his competitive debut for Munster, coming on as a replacement for Duncan Williams in the 2016–17 Pro12 fixture against Treviso at Thomond Park.[4]
