Ara Paiaya is a British Film Director. He is best known for Directing and Producing Hollywood star-driven independent feature films for the worldwide home entertainment market. Ara Paiaya is also a Director of Photography (Cinematographer), Film Editor and a Fight Choreographer. He is best known for the film Skin Traffik starring Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen, Jeff Fahey, Gary Daniels, Dominique Swain, Alan Ford.[1][2][3][4][5]
Career
Ara Paiaya is a filmmaker and a martial artist, who has been making action movies since 2001. In his early independent movies between 2001–2011 as the lead actor Ara Paiaya was best known for his acrobatic fighting style, improvised weapons and stunt sequences, which he typically performed himself. Since then he has been Directing, Producing and Co-Starring in feature films with Oscar nominated actors, Golden Globe winners and BAFTA winners.[6][7][8]
Paiaya Directed, Produced, Filmed, Edited, Action Directed and Co-Starred in the 2015 released action feature film Skin Traffik starring Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler), Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill), Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs), Jeff Fahey (Machete), Gary Daniels (The Expendables), Dominique Swain (Lolita), Alan Ford (Snatch). The film was a commercial success and was distributed worldwide. Paiaya then followed up with the action revenge feature film Instant Death starring Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk) which was acquired by Sony Pictures.[9]
