The Archie Griffin Award signifies college football's most valuable player for the entire season. Named after the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner in history Archie Griffin, the award was first presented to Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Vick in 1999. The specially designed ring is one of the few college football awards presented after all bowl games are completed. The most recent recipient is Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson. The award is given by the Touchdown Club of Columbus.
