Arik Levy was born in Tel Aviv.[1] Artist and industrial designer, he attended the Art Center Europe in Switzerland where he graduated in Industrial Design in 1991.[2] Levy has developed a multi-disciplinary approach, developing over the past 25 years a successful career in both art and industrial design fields. He currently works in his studio in Paris.

Biography

After graduating at Art Center College of Design (Art Center, La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland), Levy went to Japan where he consolidated his ideas producing products and pieces for exhibitions.[1] He then returned to Europe where he contributed his artistry to contemporary dance and opera creating set designs. Renowned for his sculptures and the "Rock" series, Levy's work is widely collected by public and private collections.[3] One of his most recent and largest sculpture has been acquired by Atomium in Brussels (RockGrowth Atomium 808, over 8 meters high).[4]
