Asha Roy (born 5 January 1990) is an Indian sprinter. She competes in the 100 metres and 200 metres events.

Roy was born in Ghanshyampur, a village in the Hooghly district of the Indian State of West Bengal, and grew up with her parents Bholanath, a vegetable-seller, and Bulu Roy, a homemaker, and three siblings.[1] It was upon her father's insistence that she took to athletics and trained in 200 metres under a coach, Probir Chandra.

Roy first got noticed at the West Bengal athletics meets of 2009 and 2010. At the 2011 National Championships in Kolkata, she won gold medals in the 100 metres with a time of 11.85 seconds, 200 metres with a time of 24.36 seconds, before winning silver in the 4 × 100 metres relay.[1] At the 2013 Asian Championships, she finished 200 metres with a time of 23.71 seconds won the bronze medal.[2]
