Ashanty (born November 4, 1984), is an Indonesian singer, actress and television personality of mixing parentage from her parents of Javanese-Arab-French.[1] She began widely known by public when singing duet with controversial singer Anang Hermansyah for single "Jodohku", who currently had official for husband and wife.

Personal life

Ashanty has married to singer Anang Hermansyah, who a former husband of queen pop singer Krisdayanti, on May 12, 2013, in Bali.[2] Through her marriage, Ashanty has birth two child.

Career

Ashanty began her debut career for singer when she signed a recording contract by Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia and has released her first single "Dulu", through her self-titled album in 2009. Unfortunately, her debut album had less successful in the market and the first single has popularity in several radio and chart song, including Dahsyat and Inbox.

Ashanty has more popularity when proposed by Indonesian singer Anang Hermansyah for replacing Syahrini and pop singer Krisdayanti, as duet singer. In addition, Ashanty has began working her first duet album with her future husband, titled Jodohku in 2011, and released same-titled album single.

In addition as singer, Ashanty also played her debut film with her husband Anang, titled Romantini (2013).[3]
