Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities
The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) is a consortium of private liberal arts colleges in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis–Saint Paul) of Minnesota dedicated to providing cooperative programs, services, and opportunities for their respective students, faculty, staff, and administrators. The ACTC is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The five members of the ACTC are:
- Augsburg College
- Hamline University
- Macalester College
- St. Catherine University
- University of St. Thomas
The ACTC was officially incorporated in 1975 in order to share and enrich academic offerings for the students of the five institutions. The consortium continues to promote student exchange between its member campuses and to develop and share academic programs. The opportunity for cross-registration makes possible a range and depth of course offerings and majors unavailable at any single institution.
According to the ACTC's official website (see link below), "this partnership combines the benefits of our campuses' small, liberal arts atmospheres with the diverse opportunities of a large university. Students enrolled at one institution are able to experience the strengths and benefits of each school."

this small paragraph is for my communications class: students will have the opportunity to find a job threw the colleges and they won't feel afraid because immediately after graduation the college that the person has graduated from will find him or her a job that matches her studies. All this will help the unemployment of the US as they say to the article “The Twin Cities is home to 18 Fortune 500 companies, many of whom provide wonderful internship opportunities, as well as jobs for recent graduates,” adds Dr. Anupama Pasricha, associate professor at St. Catherine University. Also if someone has a financial problem this is not a reason to worry because the housing and in general the things someone wants to do are very cheap in compare with other cities and also in each college they give a pass so you can have free access in some specific shops outside of the campus. If a person is interested in art they can find in Twin cities many art galleries.
