Athelington is a hamlet and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk, England, about 12 miles (19 km) south-east from Diss. The name is derived from the Old English word Aetheling. The population of the hamlet was only minimal at the 2011 Census and is included in the civil parish of Redlingfield.
