Avvakir

Avvakir (Russian: Авваки́р) is an old and rare Russian Christian^[1] male first name.^[2] It derives from the Biblical Hebrew word abba, meaning father, combined with the first name Kir.^[1]

Its diminutive is Kira (Ки́ра).^[2] The patronymics derived from this first name are "Авваки́рович" (Avvakirovich; masculine) and "Авваки́ровна" (Avvakirovna; feminine).^[2]
