Baby Makin' Project is the sixth studio album by American R&B group Jagged Edge. It was released through So So Def/Island Records in the U.S. on September 25, 2007. Producers include Jermaine Dupri, Manuel Seal, Selasi a.k.a. "The African Kid" and Sick Cents.
The song "Put a Little Umph in It" featuring Ashanti is the first single off the album. The video was shot by director Ray Kay around the week of July 17, 2007. The video premiered on August 14, 2007. "Put a Little Umph in It" is peaked at #49 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Following its release, the album debuted at number eight on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 78,000 copies in its first week.[4]
