Bala Turkvision Song Contest

Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2016 will be the second edition of the Bala Turkvision Song Contest. The contest is the junior equivalent of the Turkvision Song Contest; similar to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest being the younger equivalent of the Eurovision Song Contest.

As of 5 December 2016 seven countries and regions have announced their participation. Eligible to participate are Turkic regions, which have either a large Turkic population or a widely spoken Turkic language. Contestants must be aged between 8 and 15 and must perform in a Turkic language.

Location

It was announced on 18 April 2016, that the second Bala Turkvision Song Contest will be held in Turkey.[1]
