Balaenifrons homopteridia is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Hampson in 1896. It is found in Burma,[1] India (Bengal) and northern Borneo.[2]
The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are purplish-red, irrorated with ochreous. The hindwings are yellowish brown.[3]
