Ballybannan

Ballybannon is a townland on the outskirts of the village of Annsborough close to the town of Castlewellan, County Down, Northern Ireland. The area contains some of the most majestic views of the Mourne Mountains. The townland covers the road, Ballybannon and some houses on the adjoining Wateresk Road. There is also a recognisable water works house in the townland. The new Mighty Maize Maze which is a fun farm park is also located in the townland. Near to the townland is the small village of Maghera, where there is a country pub, the Maghera Inn.
