The Bannerman's sunbird (Cyanomitra bannermani) is a species of bird in the Nectariniidae family. It is found in Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Zambia.
Its scientific and common names honor the ornithologist David Armitage Bannerman.[2]
