Barbara Paulus
Barbara Paulus (born 1 September 1970 in Vienna) is a former professional top 10 female tennis player from Austria. She began playing on the WTA Tour in 1986 and retired in 2001. During her career she won a total of seven WTA tournaments (six singles titles, one doubles title). Paulus competed for the Austria Fed Cup team on 21 occasions in singles and doubles, winning nine matches and losing thirteen.
Private life
Paulus was born in Austrian capital Vienna, and resides in Hinterbrühl. Her father, Gerhard, is a computer sales manager; her mother Brigitte is a housewife; her brother, Werner, plays basketball.[3] Paulus graduated in 1990.[3]
She enjoys visiting Florida, because of the climate.[4]
