Battle of Dalton
At least three conflicts during the American Civil War are sometimes known as Battle of Dalton:
- First Battle of Dalton, fought between February 22 and February 27, 1864, in Whitfield County, Georgia
- Battle of Rocky Face Ridge Operations near Dalton, on or about May 7, 1864, in Whitfield County, Georgia, an early stage in Sherman's Atlanta Campaign.[1]
- Second Battle of Dalton, fought between August 14 and August 15, 1864, in Whitfield County, Georgia
