be junior is a pre-school kids TV channel launched on 1 April 2016, owned by broadcast on the beIN Channels Network.
beIN Media Group launched its own kids channel "be junior" after it signed an agreement with Studio 100 in March 2016.
On 1 April 2016, the new kids channel was launched while beIN Media Group also rolled out three HD sports nets on Australian pay TV platform Foxtel. .[3]
The "be junior" service targets pre-school viewers in the Middle East and North Africa, with producer and distributor Studio 100 partnering with Qatari-owned beIN.
This kids channel is available in the beIN Media Group’s pay platform in the MENA region, with Studio 100 providing its programming and branding expertise.
The look and feel of the service is based upon Studio 100’s Junior channel, which goes out in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Titles on beJunior include Maya the Bee, Vic the Viking and Heidi and many of other distributed titles by Studio 100. It will also have upcoming Studio 100 series including Arthur and the Minimoys, based on the Luc Besson movie franchise.
