Beta Pavonis(β Pav) is a star in the constellation Pavo. Its apparent magnitude is 3.42.[2] Located around 41.43 parsecs (135.1 ly) distant,[1] it is a white subgiant of spectral type A5IV,[3] a star that has used up its core hydrogen and has expanded.
