Bexley Hospital, Bexleyheath

Not to be confused with Bexley Hospital.

Bexley Hospital, Bexleyheath was in Bexleyheath (Upton Road) and was founded in 1884 (by paid for by the Bexley United Charities).[1] It was previously called the Bexley Cottage Hospital and Provident Dispensar.[2] and also Bexley Cottage Hospital. Currently known as The Upton center it run by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.[3]

It was an acute hospital and it closed (as a hospital) in 1978.[1] There was also a psychiatric hospital called Bexley Hospital in Kent.
