Biraj Thapa Magar

Biraj Thapa Magar or Biraj Bakheti Magar was 1st Commander of King Prithvi Narayan Shah in the campaign of Unification of Nepal. In the 1st campaign, they were to attack Nuwakot. He failed to attack looking overflowing Trishuli River. Also, the army was untrained, unmanaged and under prepared. He was sacked and Maheshwar Panta and Kalu Pandey were made commander.
