Blackadder is free software networking software under the GNU General Public License. It is an implementation of an information-centric networking environment. It exports a publish-subscribe service model to applications, which allows for publish and subscribe operations in a directed acyclic graph-based information model.
Blackadder won the European Commissions' [1] FIA Award in 2013. It is produced by the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme funded PURSUIT project, with a consortium consisting of Helsinki Institute for Information Technology, Cambridge University, Ericsson, Essex University and others.
