Bob King (speed coach)

Bob King (born August 20, 1954) is an American Strength and Conditioning coach with a focus on speed training. He played college football at Texas Tech University. He was the Strength and Conditioning coach for the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Burn (now FC Dallas), Assistant Strength and conditioning coach for the Dallas Cowboys and Push Coach for the US Skeleton team.

Dallas Mavericks (1989-1996)

King was the first Strength and Conditioning Coach in Dallas Mavericks History. He was a contributing author for, "Condition the NBA Way".[1][2]

Dallas Cowboys (1992-1995)

While with the Mavericks, King joined the Dallas Cowboys staff.[3][4]

Dallas Burn

King served as the Strength and Conditioning coach for the Dallas Burn.[5]

Winter Olympics, 2002, Salt Lake

King served as the Push Coach for the Skeleton at the 2002 Winter Olympics where they won Olympic Gold in Men's Skeleton (Jimmy Shea), Women's Skeleton (Tristan Gale) and Silver in Women's Skeleton (Lea Ann Parsley).[6][7]
