Boon Lay Way
Boon Lay Way is a road that goes from Commonwealth Avenue West all the way to Upper Jurong Road via the Jurong East and the Jurong West New Towns. It had been opened on July 17, 1980; at a much thoroughfare between Jurong Town Hall Road and Corporation Road; and somehow adding on to the section which was built in 1969 all the way to Jalan Boon Lay. This signals the start of the development of Jurong East New Town. Boon Lay Way had been finally connected with ease on 16 April 1999 by extending the route from Pioneer Road North to Upper Jurong Road, where subsequently it had been extended along Jurong West Neighbourhood 6 on 20 January 1998.
