Boris Yakovlevich Maluev (Russian: Борис Яковлевич Малуев; February 6, 1929, Stalingrad, USSR; October 24, 1987, Leningrad, USSR) was a Soviet Russian painter, a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists,[1] Honored Artist of the RSFSR,[2] lived and worked in Leningrad, regarded as one of representatives of the Leningrad school of painting,[3] most famous for his historical and genre paintings.
