Laka was chosen to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. The song representing Bosnia-Herzegovina at the 2008 Contest in Belgrade was first announced to the public following the most recent tradition of a Sunday prime time TV show. This time, the song was presented in a prime-time live special on Sunday, 2 March 2008 on BHRT and BHT SAT.
Selection
The Bosnia-Herzegovinian national broadcaster announced that the Bosnia-Herzegovinian entry would be selected during a show called BH Eurosong on 2 March 2008. Firstly the artist would be selected and then the song was to be chosen while both would separately be revealed. On 27 December 2007 the seven-member Committee formed by the BHRT, listened to all 31 shortlisted songs selected from a total of 50 received by 20 December deadline.
