Buddleja 'Attraction' is a cultivar raised from an open pollination of Buddleja × weyeriana 'Honeycomb' by Prof. Michael Dirr at the University of Georgia, USA, in 1999.[1]

Description

'Attraction' grows to a height of 2.75 m. The foliage is grey-green, whilst the inflorescences comprise magenta-red panicles. The shrub is reputed to most closely resemble 'Royal Red'. [2]

Cultivation

'Attraction' is not known to be cultivated beyond the USA. Hardiness: USDA zones 5–9.[2]

Derivatives

The cultivar was crossed with 'White Ball' to create the highly successful 'Miss Ruby'.[1]
