Cinema TV is an Indian cable and satellite television channel, owned by Softline Creations. The channel was launched on 1 June 2012, as a 24-hour Hindi movie channel. The free-to-air TV channel airs all types of film genres like drama, action, comedy, thriller and classic. The channel faces stiff competition from the likes of Hindi movie channels, like Zee Cinema, SET Max, UTV Action, Star Gold and Movies OK - also from the Star TV stable.[1][2][3]
