Cape Nakayubi

Cape Nakayubi (69°14′S 39°39′E / 69.233°S 39.650°E / -69.233; 39.650Coordinates: 69°14′S 39°39′E / 69.233°S 39.650°E / -69.233; 39.650) is a rocky point marking the south extremity of a U-shaped peninsula which extends seaward in finger-like fashion from the west side of Langhovde Hills, Queen Maud Land. Mapped from surveys and air photos by Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE), 1957-62. The name "Nakayubi-misaki" (middle finger point) was given by JARE Headquarters in 1972 in association with Cape Koyubi, which lies 0.5 nautical miles (0.9 km) northwestward.
