Carano (German: Kaldrein) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of Trento.
Geography
As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 958 and an area of 13.6 square kilometres (5.3 sq mi).[1]
