Catherine Lemorton is a French pharmacist and politician(member of the National Assembly of France). She represents the Haute-Garonne department,[1] and is a member of the Socialist party. She won the election in 2007 in the first circonscription (constituency) of Toulouse, defeating Jean-Luc Moudenc who was mayor of Toulouse at the time.
Parliamentary action
Catherine Lemorton is known for her report (la prescription, la consommation et la fiscalité des médicaments)[2][3] on pharmaceutical drugs. It is very often regarded as taking part in a fight against the lobbies of the pharmaceutical industry[4] and the conflicts of interest in medicament's policies.
