Caushaud Lyons (born January 3, 1993) is an American football defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He played college football at Tusculum. He has also spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Professional career
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Lyons was signed by the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2015.[1] He was waived on September 5, 2015.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Lyons was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 6, 2015.[2] He was released on September 30 and then re-signed to the practice squad on October 2. On January 19, Lyons signed a futures contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.[3]
On September 3, 2016, Lyons was released by the Steelers as part of final roster cuts.[4] The next day he was signed to the Steeler's practice squad.[5]
