Center for International Private Enterprise

The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) is one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy and a non-profit affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

About

Founded in 1983 in Washington, D.C. the Center describes its remit as to "strengthen democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reform". It was established by the National Chamber Foundation, becoming a standalone affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce in 1985.[1]
